| Rhythm Maker is a powerful rhythm composition program. |
Rhythms are created on a rhythm grid which displays the drum sounds available and the pattern length. Notes can be entered directly onto the grid while the pattern is playing or when it is stopped. Real-time entry is also provided by tapping the mouse button in time with the rhythm. The number of sounds used in each rhythm can be tailored to individual requirements. |
Time signatures can be chosen from a range of simple or compound time. The accent and stereo position of a note can be defined. The rhythm grid displays the current resolution of note input. This can be changed at any time to provide different levels of accuracy without effecting any existing notes. Once created, rhythm patterns can be sequenced together to make a track. Simply select your pattern from the bank available and drop in into the track window where ever you please. More than one rhythm track can be created and named. Independent Volume and Tempo control is given to each rhythm pattern in the track to enable changes as the track progresses. Loops can be created and given the number of times to repeat. |
A host of powerful "effects" tools are provided. These range from simple fill effects to more complex, fading, echoing, reversing, sliding, etc. |
Rhythm Maker is an ideal companion to Compose World 2 and MIDIgrid. Rhythm patterns and Rhythm tracks can be made in Rhythm Maker and then loaded into one of the above ESP programs to be used from there.
